1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FCExG, Inc. ("HouseDiary," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when you use the HouseDiary mobile apps, website at myhousediary.com, and related services (together, the "Services").

If you use HouseDiary, this policy applies to information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and information received from service providers involved in delivering subscriptions, hosting, analytics, notifications, and AI features.

2. Information we collect

Account information, such as your email address, name, profile details, account identifiers, and authentication-related records.

Home and property information, such as addresses or approximate locations you provide, property characteristics, appliance and asset records, model and serial numbers, maintenance schedules, service history, vendor contacts, notes, budgeting details, and recall-monitoring information.

Files and media, such as photos, receipts, manuals, warranties, inspection reports, and other documents or images you upload.

AI interaction data, such as prompts, chats, uploaded images or files used for AI parsing, generated summaries, extracted fields, and support context tied to AI features.

Subscription and transaction data, such as plan tier, renewal status, store transaction identifiers, entitlement status, and limited billing metadata provided by RevenueCat, Apple, or Google. We do not receive your full payment card number from in-app purchase providers.

Technical and usage data, such as device type, operating system, app version, log data, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, push notification tokens, and feature usage events.

3. Why we use information

We use personal information to provide and maintain the Services, including storing your home records, syncing data across devices, delivering reminders, showing subscription entitlements, and responding to support requests.

We use information to power AI features, including parsing documents and images, generating summaries, answering questions, identifying patterns, and producing home-related recommendations.

We use information to secure the Services, detect abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve performance, develop new features, comply with law, and enforce our Terms.

Where allowed by law, we may also use limited usage information for product analytics and service improvement.

4. AI processing disclosure

Some HouseDiary features use third-party AI models to process prompts, messages, documents, photos, metadata, and related home records that you submit. That processing helps us provide AI-assisted parsing, chat responses, summaries, and predictive or organizational insights.

Because AI systems can make mistakes, outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Please review AI-generated content before relying on it for maintenance, budgeting, recall, safety, insurance, or resale decisions.

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us operate HouseDiary, subject to contractual or practical limits appropriate to their role. This includes cloud infrastructure, authentication, and file storage providers.

AI input data may be shared with third-party AI providers when you use AI-powered features.

We share subscription and purchase status data with RevenueCat, and purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play when you subscribe in-app.

We use Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send notifications to your devices.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.

6. Data retention

We keep account and property data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. Uploaded files and structured home records are generally retained until you delete them or close your account, subject to backup and legal retention windows.

AI request content, logs, and technical records may be retained for shorter periods as reasonably necessary for security, debugging, abuse prevention, product improvement, and service operations.

When you delete content or close your account, we will delete or de-identify relevant personal information within a commercially reasonable period, unless we need to retain certain data for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, tax or accounting obligations, or backup recovery cycles.

7. Your privacy choices and rights

You can access, update, or delete certain profile and home information from within the app. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information, subject to applicable law and technical limitations.

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another region with similar rights, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to certain processing, and request portability of your information.

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what categories of personal information we collect, access or delete certain information, correct inaccuracies, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in this policy.

To exercise privacy rights, email support@myhousediary.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Legal bases for processing

Where required by applicable law, we process personal information on one or more of the following legal bases: to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, and with your consent where consent is required.

9. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Our website and apps may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, measure performance, and improve the user experience. You can manage some of these technologies through your browser or device settings, although disabling them may affect functionality.

10. International data transfers

HouseDiary and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or they operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

11. Children's privacy

HouseDiary is intended for adults managing homes or properties and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice through the Services or by other appropriate means.
